From the people who talked with me on the phone and met me on a rainy Saturday morning, to the people who delivered to my remote farm, I was treated as if I were important and my opinions mattered. All of the people I came in contact with were both friendly and professional. And as much as I like the people and their business model, I am equally impressed by the furniture. Surfaces are beautiful and wonderful to touch. There is a solidity and heft to each piece that only high quality furniture has. Attention to detail is evident, as is fact that the pieces were designed to be both functional and comfortable to use. And yet, they are also terrific to look at. I currently have four Lilly chars (two small and two medium), an Industrial Green dining table, a Manhattan dining table converted for use as a ping pong table, a Lilly side table, an Industrial Green bench, and a platform bed, all in a variety of finishes and options. And I feel good that CounterEv has put a priority on sustainability, using recycled wood, zero voc stains and environmentally friendly processes. I don’t know what else to write but Wow!

CounterEv is AMAZING. We ordered dining and console tables, as well as a table runner, and we could not be happier. CounterEV's furniture style is unique and recognizable as their own.
We purchased a dining table and chairs. After living with their kitchen chairs for over 6 months we have come to appreciate the forethought put into the ergonomics and design. The chairs have the illusion of modern angles but is genuinely comfortable. The quality of the wood and build is heavy and sturdy and beyond anything new or antique we have seen. Even though it was not our intention, those who visit our home compliment the table and chairs. Jill is kind and helpful, the owners were prompt answering some questions even though they were not in the store. Jill helped us in Catskill. We will absolutely return to CounterEV when we eventually need a desk.

The staff even helped me find beautiful chairs that would go with our arrangement. We purchased four dining chairs and two end tables to furnish our new apartment in Brooklyn, and we love them all! We push the end tables together to create a coffee table that can be separated into two parts - very convenient when we’re snacking on the couch. The furniture is stylish and practical at the same time. It’s held up perfectly over the past six months. Plus I’m a bowler so I love that it’s all made with reclaimed wood. Recommend!
